Welcome to the ESS online portal. I hope that our new and improved website will better
acquaint you with our history, activities and the various services we offer to or members
and the Egyptian academic community.
As a user of our website, you’ll find that a lot of the sub-specialty areas of surgery are
represented here, and have their own set of activities. We have shown a substantial growth
in the academic and CME activities recently, and we’re keen on keeping this momentum.
Research is another area in which we are growing. We emphasize research in our programs and
strive for excellence in this area, that’s why we’ve had our very own academic journal (EJS)
now published and endorsed by MedKnow, the world’s most renowned medical publisher.
